LodgeStock is a small team with a long history around lodges and one priority: build what the people running them actually need.

Sebastian has spent his life travelling Africa, and the bush is where he is most at home. He is a computer scientist and AI specialist.

Enough time around lodges shows you how much effort goes into keeping one running, and how little of that effort is supported by good tools. LodgeStock is his attempt to fix that for the people doing the work.

Cassia-Peia

Operations Advisor

Cassia-Peia has managed lodges and camps, running front-of-house teams and day-to-day operations in remote settings. She brings a hands-on understanding of how lodges really run, and keeps LodgeStock grounded in the realities of the people who use it every day.

Built in the field

LodgeStock was built inside Sirikoi Lodge, on the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, with the people who run it. It has been in daily use there from the first version, and everything in it is there because they needed it.

We did it that way because lodge operations are specific. How fuel is issued, how a tank is dipped, who takes the readings and when. Get those details wrong and the software gets ignored. The only reliable way to get them right is to build alongside the people doing the work, and to keep doing so.
